Making of Intergrated Practice/Creative Collaboration: 9/1/19: Production bible and marketing.

Three days before the hand in date I worked more on the production bible, Stephen had recently added more screen shot images of his 3D environment building to include in the bible. I added them to the bible in the arrangement we discussed in the meeting. However some of his images were at a wide screen format so I decided to have them going across the page as we didn't have a road map I would need to consult with Stephen and the group on this matter.

However I felt rather impressed with how I laid it out and thought Stephen would agree with it. The remainder of the bible would be used for Marketing as I remembered from Annabeth's briefing that a section on Marketing was to be included in the production bible to show what we may approach in terms of marketing.

I created the marketing products using images of white mugs, t-shirts and cushions which I then placed the BeeLive logo and the bee from our original logo onto them. I would normally use the magic wand tool to erase the white background. However I thought of a creative idea using the layer of the logo set on multiply to capture the elements of the images. This was especially useful on products like the mug. This helped capture the creases in the cushion and shirt fabric, as well as, the reflective surface on the mug which I thought was very useful.

I was rather impressed with this development, this was inspired by the work on marketing that the other groups used in their team presentations.

I was feeling more confident with the way the production bible was coming together and for the ending page I added a screen shot of the ending scene of the bee flying to the hive. In essence the bible describes the journey undergone to create the animation. I knew that Stephen would be impressed with the end page of the bible.

Looking back on my work today I felt the production bible was near finalised and had hope that all the work we'd all done would be ready for submission on Friday. We arranged a meeting for Thursday to meet to finalise the sound, recordings, blogs and animations for submission. In hindsight I should've done this for the team report so that we could display our marketing ideas better. I was concerned with the submission whether all the pieces would come together and if we would indeed be ready. However I won't let doubt cloud my mind or my faith in my teammates abilities.

In conclusion my Bible was near finished and was hoping the other pieces of the project would come together.

In future I shall be sure to consider the marketing ideas beforehand so we would be ready for our report.
